About Us
We are Raul and Stefanie, and like millions of other families in the United States, ours is a bilingual family. Stef's native language is English. Raul's is Spanish. We create innovative bilingual children's games. Our interactive computer games are primarily designed for children, but there are many adults who enjoy participating and learning together with them. It's much better that way!
Really, who are we?
In case you were wondering, we have not done this whole thing ourselves. There is a huge variety of skills that have gone into making our adventures. Because we are only human, we needed the help of other people. The story and characters were developed by Raul, with great feedback from Susan, our education expert. The animation was beautifully done by Jean and the masterful programming was done by Marcel. Fabiola did the Spanish voices -all of them!- while MJ and Karen gave life to the English-language characters. The music was composed for the occasion by Aaron. Ro made sure our Spanish texts were well written. Stefanie is holding the communications effort together. And finally, Rafael has given us invaluable support by betting on our project when Pancho and Pita were nothing but some doodles on a piece of paper.
So that is the team. I promise to talk more about their incredible talents in our blog, once I get their permission. What I can tell you is that we could fill a United Nations session with my friends and partners from all over the world...
Our Story. How on Earth did this happen?
It was really a mix of necessity and curiosity. When our son was born, we were determined he would speak both English and Spanish. We bought books, CDs and DVDs. We became a permanent fixture at the library. We found that there were some great products on the market, but I thought we could make something that would combine some of the best features of the existing products: the emotional and educational power of books, the fun of cartoons, and the interactivity of computer games.
That's how we conceived the adventures of Pacho and Pita. Today, the idea we dreamed of is finally a reality. We are happy to share our first adventure with you and hope that you and your child will enjoy it as much as we do.
